Self Care In This Crazy Time

Hi Loves,

having heard back from a few people after my last post I have decided to continue with the blog but more related to our current situation, I appreciate that nothing is "Normal" right now but it's nice to keep in touch.

I have to admit to letting all of my routines slide since the isolation, I am on week 3 of 12 weeks, I took the decision to hole up a week earlier than the government rule as I knew I have compromised immunity and can catch a germ just by looking at someone.  My first week or so, I was a total slob, I mean seriously no makeup, quick jump in and the out of the shower, which obviously resulted in dry skin, hairy legs and chipped nail polish!  alongside the fact that I felt like crap having no routine, something had to be done, as you have probably done I have spent hours on the phone during this time and a common theme amongst my girly pals is that we have all let ourselves go to pot.  There is the argument that beauty regimes are the least of our worries at the moment, and yes, they are definitely not high on the list of importance in the grand scheme of things, but for me personally it helps my mental health to keep some normality going, there is so much we can't control at the moment, it's nice to be in charge of something, even if it is something as simple as removing the fuzz from your legs.

I would like to say that I am up at the crack of dawn keeping up with Joe Wicks like one of my friends (looking at you Lisa) but alas I am not that organised, I feel that we could come out the other end of this virus either in the best condition of our lives or looking like crap and feeling rough, I am borderline, I'm trying...........but as the saying goes "all the saints are in heaven"  so for now my best will have to do.

How about you? are you keeping fit and keeping up with your skincare?
