Hi Loves

I was recently asked to try out a range I had never heard of, they came up on my radar via Instagram and I am delighted that they did.

This is not a huge company in fact it is run by a Mum of 5.

The website has a family friendly feel and the products are aimed at the family, the key ingredient in the whole range is pure Coconut Oil from Malaysia.   I would say the products are geared more towards mums and babies, which as you know is not now me as all my baby birds have flown the nest, however I got to test out two of the sites key products.

Tropika Coconut cleansing oil

Tropika Skin Coconut Cleansing Oil with Olive Oil 100ml

When I first saw this I fully expected to be hit by the fragrance of Coconut and disappointingly It wasn't, that said at least there is no fake fragrance in there, the product leaves the bottle almost identical to Coconut milk, once applied to your face  given a nice massage and a rinse off with a warm damp cloth every single trace of make up is gone !
I tested this all over including mascara, although there is nothing on the packaging that advises this, I wanted to give it a full test.
Oh my lord, sheer perfection, it removed every last trace of mascara and eye make up in seconds, this isn't a method that I usually use, but I could seriously get used to it with this product.  It was a dream to use and I would even go as far to say one of the best things I have tried out so far this year, interestingly the third ingredient shown on the ingredients list is Olive Oil although the product didn't feel at all oily or leave any residue, just soft super clean skin. At £17.99 this represents incredibly good value for a superb product.

tropika skincare coconut moisturiser.

Tropika Skin Coconut Moisturiser with Tea Tree Oil.  100g

When I first used this I assumed ( LOL ) wrongly that it was moisturiser to go with the cleanser, so I cleansed and applied the moisturiser all over my face !!!   it's for the BODY, that said it was really nice on my face ha ha.
The first thing that hit me was a really strong Tea Tree smell which I have to say isn't a favourite of mine, however this gives the cream an amazing cooling feel that I can only describe as a soothing healing feeling, it is designed for dry trouble spots on the body and will ease irritated skin, it absorbed really easily and was a pleasure to use, the feeling does take a little getting used to but it's actually really pleasant. I liked this a lot and can imagine it being perfect for anyone that has irritated skin.

Overall, I loved both of these products and would call the cleanser outstanding, a good value honest brand with no frills.

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans and is Cruelty Free.
